Influence of project manager’s competencies on project management success

Project management (PM) has been a demanding profession in construction industry due to its dynamic nature originating from the uncertainties budget, technology, and development processes, which put emphasis on necessity for highly capable project managers. This study develops an extensive PM success model investigates influence of manager’s competencies success. The resulting reveals that can play big role determining projects. Leadership is identified as most influential manager competency followed by responsibility commitment. Researchers senior practitioners such managers or boards directors are expected benefit developed recognizing influences taking notice recommendations provided.
